Our modular, rust-finished metal raised bed is an aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic addition to ground-level beds in your garden. Quickly grow some fresh herbs for the kitchen or regularly harvest fresh, crisp lettuce – that's what our durable raised bed made of solid steel promises. Depending on your space requirements, you can choose between different lengths ( 1, 2, 3, or 4 m total length ).

To protect your plants, the bed can easily be equipped with screwed snail sheets on the upper edge, which make it impossible for the dreaded pests to penetrate.

The overall height of 70 cm has proven to be an optimal choice in practice. It's not too low to allow upright work, but also not too high to ensure a balanced soil water balance (the higher the bed, the more watering is required). The width of 100 cm allows for work even when the bed is only accessible from one side, for example, along a garden fence or wall.

Assembly is incredibly easy thanks to the modular design . The individual segments, each 1 m long, are firmly screwed together using the included screws. A solid strut at mid-height provides the necessary stability, ensuring the bed retains its perfect shape even when fully filled.

We recommend a firm, level base (gravel bed or slabs) to prevent subsequent settling.

The bed can be filled either completely with compost (available from your local composter) or layered with other organic material (green waste, wood, garden waste). You can also find more information on optimal filling in our assembly instructions .

Please note: The bed with a patina finish is initially delivered in "bare steel" condition and will acquire its rusty appearance after just a few days outdoors. Spraying the surface with salt water can accelerate the process, so that a rusty appearance becomes visible after just a few hours.

Please note: We deliberately use traditional structural steel instead of CorTen steel in the manufacture of our raised beds. Chromium and nickel are added to CorTen steel, harmful heavy metals that are irreversibly released into the soil when the metal corrodes.

Delivery is made by a freight forwarder, securely packaged on a pallet. The freight forwarder will contact you prior to delivery to arrange a delivery date.
